Lunch and Learn: Invasive Plant Species of Uplands and Wetlands of New York State
Join the New York State Arborists for a virtual Lunch and Learn training on Wednesday, March 31 at 12pm.
Invasive Plant Species of Uplands and Wetlands of New York State will summarize the ecological traits of invasive plant species, show images of these species in wetlands and uplands that they often dominate, and discuss why these species are so problematic. The most serious invasive plant species in upstate versus downstate New York and some general control options also will be covered.
This program will be presented by Don Leopold, Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental and Forest Biology at SUNY-ESF.
