Free Webinar: Diversity, Collaboration and Consensus: Managing Volunteers and the Urban Forest
Presented by Emily Huff, PhD, Assistant Professor, Human Dimensions of Forestry, Michigan State University
12:00pm, Thursday, January 12
Volunteers and tree boards are a valuable resource to cities and towns in terms of advocacy, coordination, and awareness about urban forestry issues. However, these boards are often comprised of individuals with varying, and often conflicting, viewpoints. This presentation will address common (and unique) challenges of viewpoint diversity and suggest best practices for managing conflict and making group decisions.
To attend, visit www.joinwebinar.com and enter the ID code 977-076-443.
Credits: 1.0 ISA CEU and 0.5 MCA credit.
For those who are unavailable to attend the live broadcast, sessions will be archived in the "videos" section at www.urbanforestrytoday.org
