Dear Competitors, Friends and Supporters of the NYSA Tree Climbing Competition,
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Tree Climbing Competition scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Lyndhurst Manor, Tarrytown.
In the interest of the health and safety of our members, we have determined it would be impossible to maintain safe social distancing and compliance with current gathering restrictions. NYSA TCC is an event we all look forward to. Due to the seriousness of the pandemic and the disruption it has caused, many of us may need to focus our attention on family, community and business as we work toward healing and recovery. Those who have already registered will receive full refunds.
Last year's winner, Armin Schwab-Hill, is scheduled to compete in this year's ITCC. Our first alternate is second-place winner, Maycon Flores. Our second alternate is third-place winner, Sebastian Slizowski.
We hope you and your loved ones are safe and maintain a positive attitude during this difficult time.
See you next year!
Joel Greifenberger, Co-Chair
Chris Roddick, Co- Chair
Congratulations to Armin Schwab-Hill of Armin's Tree Service in Kingston for winning the 2019 NYS Tree Climbing Championship.
